Early Life

Joyce was born to Jerome C. Sr.And Bernice R. Joyce as the middle child of three. She was rasied in Gary, Indiana. she graduated from Portage High School, Indiana Then she went to college she major in Early Childhood Education And Services.

Writing Career

In 2008 Shonta open up her own company titled Shonta's Publishing company. She also wrote a book (The Weakness And Strength Of Life). She is now launching her website and will be launching her own t-shirts and keychains, mugs and bookmarks. Shonta is also a speaker for special education children.

Personal Life

Shonta had some problems in her life with learning so she want to give back to the community so she want to form an group called beleive in yourself. She didn't do it because she ened up having a baby. In 2003 Shonta had her first son (Jervonni Rashid)then two years later She had another son (Javier Ramon). In 2007 Shonta found that her yougest son had Autism Spectrum Disorder. That's what pulled her close into it. Also with her problem that suffered from as child she want to be more and honest.
