Interdisciplinary Studies BA edit

My IDS degree was individually designed and focused on the production and dissemination of multiplicities of knowledge formations. In short I studied the ways mediums presuppose meanings, i.e. books are different than movies. I focused specifically on metaphor. Arguing metaphor restricts while at the same time gives freedom to our linguistic expression as well as how our metaphors are shaped by lived experience and also shape our lived experience. My thesis was titled The Truth in Metaphor.
