Namibian Marine Life

The Namibia coastal water are some of the richest fishing ground in the world, due to the cold Benguela current which flow northward from Antarctic. ^[1]

It is exceptionally high in quantities of plankton, which account for the abudance of anchores, pilchard , macketers and other white fish. Commercial fishing and fish processing is the fastest growing sector of the Namibian economy in terms of employment, export earning and contribute to GDP.
