PERSONAL LIFE Shavel Antonnette Campbell born September 21, 1997 is a Jamaican student born and raised in Montego Bay St. James. Shavel attended the Granville SDA Basic school at the age of 3 years September 2000. At the age of 5 she furthered her studies in kindergarten years at the Montego Bay Infant school where she was outstanding in athletics and at her final year in 2004 she was the champion girl in athletics at Montego Bay Infant school. In September 2004 at age 7 Shavel was enrolled at the Chetwood Memorial Primary school at Queen's Drve Montego Bay St. James. Shavel was a well known students under the shadows of her older brother Warren who is two years older than her. Shavel was a very active student and was involved in a lot of extra curricular activities. In the 2nd grade she joined the Brownies Girls Guide group and later she became a Sixer (the group leader of the Sprites). Shavel also joined the sign language group, speech club where she perform in the JCDC festival and was awarded the highest points of all the students at her school that entered. She join the school choir, cultural dance group and she was a part of the track team. In the 5th grade Shavel was awarded champion girl of her sports house in athletics. Sh competed in many athletic Milo track meets. In the 6th grade Shavel sat her GSAT exam and was placed in the school of her choice Herbert Morrison Technical high school. In high school she tried to settle down and focus on her school work however she still managed to join the Tracks team. Shavel was selected to be the starter of the 4x100 class 4 girls relay team where she ran at multiple meets including Boys and Girls Champs. Shavel was also recruited to join the school's Netball team. She played as the Goal Shooter on the Junior team. The first year of playing Netball the Junior team won the overall competition. In 9th grade Shavel sat a CXC Social Studies. her two worst Subject but she passed her exams with grade 3 in Social Studies. In the 10th grade Shavel sat 2 more CXCs Maths and English where she passed them both with grade 2s. In hr final year in high school Shavel furthered her najor in Economics and Sat 6 remaining subject where in total she have 9 CXCs After she graduated High school, she decided to take a year off however she had dreams of going to an American University so she took the SAT test and scored 1590. She was accepted in the Art Institute of Philadelphia and also Charleson University with half scholarships, however kife happened and she got a job during that year at Teleperformance in the AT&T department. Shavel applied for both UWI and UTECH in Jamaica and got accpeted in both but she chose to attend UTECH. Shavel is currently enrolled at the UTECH Papine Campus n Kinsgton Jamaica.
