Onelombo village

onelombo is a village in omusati region ,in Etayi constituency, it is situated at the northern side of Namibia and it is 200 km away from the boarder between Angola and Namibia.


Onelombo features a secondary school, Onyika junior Secondary School, and a hospital. Onelombo is a home to Olupandu clinic and birthplace of shapumba tomas, Its neighboring villages are olupandu, Ohembe and Oinikanika.It covers upto 50 000 square km and according to the census for 2001, it has the population of 20 000 people and people who are living there came from three different tribes and they as follow,aakwambi people,kwanyama people and ndonga people.

Economical activities

People use to cultivate land to grow some food to feed their families and take the surplus to the market in order to earn some money to pay for their children school fees,And some raise Animals which help them to work on land,Animals like donkeys and oxens are use for ploughing and some are use for the purposes i mention above such as for food and for sale for people to help their families,becouse not all the families have members working for the government or companies.
