Hey ! You are on my user page

I have joined Wikipedia as a user in december 2005.

Wikipedia is god for me, I surrender to the knowledge of Wikipedia in case of any intellectual dispute

I'm considered by my friends an ex-girlfriend as a Wikiholic and a profound Geek God (somehow, I'm a socialite and extremely geek at the same time.... yes it can happen !)

I edit some pages in french under the same name.

Favorite quotes

Beware, this section is awfully long, I am a quote person....

If you want to be respected by others the great thing is to respect yourself. Only by that, only by self-respect will you compel others to respect you. - Fyodor Dostoevsky

"You're a gentleman," they used to say to him. "You shouldn't have gone murdering people with a hatchet; that's no occupation for a gentleman." - Fyodor Dostoevsky

A man who lies to himself, and believes his own lies, becomes unable to recognize truth, either in himself or in anyone else, and he ends up losing respect for himself and for others. When he has no respect for anyone, he can no longer love, and in him, he yields to his impulses, indulges in the lowest form of pleasure, and behaves in the end like an animal in satisfying his vices. And it all comes from lying-to others and to yourself. - Fyodor Dostoevsky

"All this time we got the fable of Sleeping Beauty wrong. The prince didn't kiss her to wake her up. No one who's slept for a hundred years is likely to wake up. It was the other way round. He kisses her to wake himself up from the nightmare that has brought him there." - Max Payne 2

"Death is inevitable. Our fear of it makes us play safe, blocks out emotion. It's a losing game. Without passion you are already dead." - Max Payne 2

"Now, like all my loves, she is mine forever. She has brought me here, to this moment of clarity, where time slows down, and I choose to look back, to see myself. And in that act of seeing, I am reborn." - Max Payne 2

"The past is a gaping hole. Your only chance is to turn around and face it. but it’s like kissing the lips of your dead love, darkness waiting in the hole of her mouth. We are willing to suffer, to die for the things we care about. For love, for the right choices." - Max Payne 2

"This is love. When someone drags you from the wreckage when you have given in, ready to just lie there and die. This is love. When someone, no matter what the cost, shows you there is hope, a choice, that you can put down your gun. This is love. Love hurts." - Max Payne 2

Great things

edit

Now this is for things I just find great. This section can only grow bigger with time.

Agressive and pounding music, that'll make you dance and forget your worries

Dark, yet lyrical music, beautifully made

The most kick-ass country in the world

The reason you are able to read this

What we all live for

That's it for now !
