Scott Howard completed his undergraduate degree at the Univeristy of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1993. He then taught instruemental music at http://www.morrison.k12.ok.us/. He then completed a Masters Degree in Music Education (M.M.E.) at the http://www.uco.edu/index.asp. After completing his first masters degree, he then instructed instrumental music at http://www.bridgecreek.k12.ok.us/ as well as http://www.paulsvalleyschools.com/. He then accepted a graduate assistantship to begin work on his PHD at the File:University of Oklahomawww.ou.edu. While working on the degree, he instruted at both http://www.norman.k12.ok.us/ and http://www.norman.k12.ok.us/. He then instructed at http://www.deercreekelementary.org/ for one year and completed his PHD in Music Education Research. His dissertation "Career Satisfaction and Teacher Retention..." can be found in the University of Oklahoma libraries.

Dr. Howard instructed 2 years at http://www.north-ok.edu/main in Tonkawa,Ok before taking a position at Columbus Enterprise in Oklahoma City. At that point, he completed another Masters Degree in Education, Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision from the University of Oklahoma.
