Aaron F. Schnore is an American screenwriter and independent filmmaker who lives in New York, New York.

In 2004, Schnore co-wrote/co-produced the award-winning short film AVENUE X with the Haitian-American director Phil Roc, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, screened at dozens of festivals internationally, and won the Best Director award at the Gotham International Film & Video Festival. A feature film version of AVENUE X is currently in pre-production.

Schnore also co-wrote the medical thriller WHITE CURE (later renamed SCIENTIFICO, directed by Fernando Scarpa, and co-starring Al Thompson, a frequent actor in Schnore's films).

Also in 2004, Schnore also co-wrote and co-produced the acclaimed hip-hop/horror short film RHYME ANIMAL (also directed by Phil Roc). RHYME ANIMAL co-stars Craig "muMs" Grant, Al Thompson, and Bridget Barkan. RHYME ANIMAL screened at dozens of film festivals internationally, including Cleveland, Newport Beach, Brooklyn, Coney Island, and many others.

Schnore's latest produced short film is SHOWDOWN OF THE GODZ, completed in December of 2007, which he co-wrote and associate produced. SHOWDOWN OF THE GODZ stars David Gasman, Alixx Schottland, Ayla Gutman, and co-stars the legendary George Takei (STAR TREK, HEROES). The film is directed by Julien Calderbank.

In 2008, the director Henry Cruz will direct AFTER PARTY BABIES, an outrageous, sexy comedy about a love triangle -- with a surprising twist.

Also in 2008, Schnore's first feature film will be produced. INSIDE A CHANGE was co-written with the film's director, Rik Cordero, founder of Three/21 Films in New York City. INSIDE A CHANGE is the story of Chris Rhodes (Al Thompson), a young man who is about to serve 180 days in prison for a first-time offense. When his mother invites him home for dinner, he finds his younger brother following in his footsteps and his older brother, Shawn (Jamie Hector from THE WIRE) disowning him. With his family falling apart, Chris is forced to re-examine his life and how he can bring everyone together for his mother's birthday.

Schnore is a past Grand Prize winner of the Writer’s Network screenwriting competition (sponsored by Fade In: magazine), a past Project Greenlight Top 50 finalist, a Top 20 Final Draft finalist, a Sundance Lab and Outfest Lab finalist, and more. He has a degree in English from The College of William & Mary and Screenwriting from New York University.
