The Young Sinclairs (2005-)are a five-piece psychedelic pop band based out of Roanoke, VA. The group is known for their jangle pop guitar sound and infectious harmonies.
The group is made up of Samuel Jones Lunsford on lead guitar and vocals, Seanmichael Poff on rhythm guitar and vocals, John Thompson on drums and vocals, Daniel Cundiff on bass guitar and vocals, and Jonathan Woods on keyboards and vocals. In the five years the Sinclairs have been together they have produced a number of releases. The first being the "Black Demos" and the latest being "Chimeys" soon to be released on Chimney Sweep Records. In 2008 The Young Sinclairs struck up talks with Athen's-based Kindercore Records owners Ryan Lewis and Dan Geller. After meeting with the label owners whom were attracted to their first self-released full length "Feel Bad" a deal was struck to release an anthology of choice cuts from past albums on a vinyl LP entitled "The Songs Of The Young Sinclairs". The Young Sinclairs have played with many notable acts including the legendary Blue Cheer & a tour with Australia's own The Lovetones. Other acts The Sinclairs have played with are Akron/Family, Maserati, Sunburned Hand Of The Man, Still Flyin', Ruby Isle, I Am The World Trade Center, ....
