Saxonhawthorn is the nomme-de-plume of Ian Hawthorn Thain, owner of the domain thain.com and of the web site residing there. Thain was born in London in 1944, his wife Janice is forty years his junior and was born in Cebu of the Philippines. They now live in Oxfordshire. Their interests are many and varied, but are grouped mainly around the Christian faith (both), Electronic Engineering and Software (Ian), and women's fashion accessories (Janice). Ian has made a particular study of the Chronology of the Bible but refuses to be drawn into arguments about popular schemes of eschatology, all of which (because of their many chronological and doctrinal errors) he regards as being deeply flawed.
