Nicolás Dumit Estévez is Bronx-based artist (born in the Dominican Republic) whose artwork has been shown at the DuSable Museum [1], The Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning [2], The 8th Floor / Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation [3], the Old Bronx Courthouse[4], Longwood Arts Gallery[5], and in recent years has begun curating. In the fall of 2017, Estévez curated "Art in Odd Places," which has featured his performance-based artwork in previous years. [6]

In 2011, Estévez was baptized as a Bronxite in the Bronx River, as part of a project Born Again which was featured at the Longwood Art Gallery at Hostos Community College.[7]
