Introduction edit

I am a upper junior at York college . I"m supposed to be a senior by now however I still have a few more electives to complete so I'll be at York a little longer than expected. I am currently taking an I/O Psychology 253 class with Professor Dr. Ashton. It seems interesting. My work and school load are filled to the max this semester, so that means no fun for me, just work and even more work becuase I'm taking 18 credits this semester plus a job and church duties. So it's safe to say I have a lot on my plate. So, I've created a plan. For every good grade that i get I'm able to have one chocolate kiss made by The Hershey Company. YUMMY!

My Major in Psychology edit

I chose a major in pscyhology at York college because I love to work with children but didnt want to exactly become a teacher. There came a time when I took into consideration of changing my major to education. But i was already so far into Psychology that I decided to stick with it for several reasons:

The field of Pscyhology allows you to constantly learn and give you a greater understanding about the mind, behavior and people.
It still allows me to be able to work with children and not be a teacher nessecarily.
It's a topic that really holds my attention (at least most of the time).

My Views of Psy 253 edit

Wikipedia will be one of the main focus of the I/O Psychology 253 semester. I/O Psychology 253. Wikipedia. For this course we will be using our wikipedia I/O Psychology 253 page with a list of assignments to be done. By the end of the course I hope to have learned and better understand the purpose of it. And of course I also hope to come out satisfied with a good grade. :-)

My Interest edit

I'm a Puertorican girl born and raised in United States. However, unlike others who calim to be hispanic, I do speak, write and read spanish. I can cook too, so thats a plus. I'm also engaged and trying to finish school so that I can get married. I also go to church and I'm the pastors duty and active in different areas in the church and community. I'm also currently working with children at a Preschool as a teachers assistant. And I've worked with children in many different ways over the years...
