He was born on 1 Feb 1983 to Sh. Bhagwan Kodian in a village of Haryana. He graduated from M.D. University Rohtak. He was a active member of N.S.S. during his schooling. Joined Forest Department Haryana as forest officer sudden demise of his father. He was quick & agile & secured 1st position in 10km Marathon race during his Training course. He was a fitness freak & participation in various state Body Building Championships during 2007-08. His chance meeting with Mamta Soda (2nd Woman from Haryana to climb Mount Everest) inspired him to take mountaineering. He completed his Basic Mountaineering Course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarakhand with Alpha Grade. He completed advance Mountaineering course from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling (W.B.) & got recommendation for Mountaineering expedition. He successfully scaled Imja Tse (Island peak, 6189m on 8th April 2012. Since than there was no looking back. He completed trek in Everest region on Nepal & climbed Everest Base Camp, 5364m & Kala Pathar (5550m) after summiting Mount Satopanth (7075m) and Mount Stock Kangri (6200m),. He was selected to join team expedition to Mount Everest. He successfully summitted Mount Everest (8848m) on 19-5-2013. He was the first Indian Forest Officer to achieve this feat. His hunger for touching great heights did not end here & he scaled Mount Elbrus (Highest peak of Europe) in July 2013 and mount kilimanjro ( highest peak of africa) in june 2015.In Oct 2013 he was part of joint team for trekking Siachen Glacier with Indian Army. He has long list of peaks to scale & includes to scale highest peaks of seven continents & dreams to reach North & South pole one day.
