Hi Sango123 edit

Thanks for welcoming me to Wikipedia! At the moment I've just been making the odd minor edit, but I thought I should do so under a username so that I can keep track of them! I'm just in the final stages of my PhD so I don't have much time for major article-writing. I hope to contribute more in the future.

It's great to see a list of classical composers and pianists under the heading "Favourite musicians". I'm a classical music fan too, and hope to contribute something to music-related articles. (I've attempted to describe and analyse works on my personal website [1] before, and I'm not sure it was entirely successful, so maybe I'll stick to the history of music and the composers' lives).

This year I hoped to see Yundi Li at De Montfort Hall here in Leicester, but sadly he was "indisposed" so I didn't have the opportunity to seek his autograph.

I'm also interested in Chinese culture and language, and already find Wikipedia a useful reference!

Take care,

http://www.nationmaster.com/ edit

Thank you for the welcome. Question: What is the relation between Wikipedia and http://www.nationmaster.com/ ? Profero 18:46, 10 September 2005 (UTC)

Phroziac told me it's a mirror.
But I don't understand how mirrorsites that also contain commercial content can use our work that is strictly intended for non-commercial purposes? Profero 09:57, 11 September 2005 (UTC)

Articles Submitted edit

My article titled "A Possible Energy Source", and critique of an earler article, unfortunately untitled, but dealing with possible conversion of electrons to positrons. The article , a "A Possible Energy Source' was intended to be saved. but the rectangle offering this flicked off screen before I could use it. Hope it survives. As to the criticized article, I wish the type were larger so Icould proof-read it more redily. I will look up the Discovr article. It was Sodium2(two) that produced the abundant positrons. I know how low the yield of isotopes is in a cyclotron, and am hoping that people who understand string theory or some other can tell whether conversion of electrons to positrons is possible Surely, it would not be a job for a cyclotron. Even the Pons/Fleshman aparatuss would be more likely to do that!
