I’m a long-time Wikipedia user. I primarily am a reader but have become interested in doing editing by working on topics that I know about. Wikipedia is a great resource and I feel that it’s important that it remain impartial.
I have a background and expertise in many things. These include:
- Carpentry
- Electrical Systems
- Electronic Control Systems
- Nuclear Reactors
- Computer hardware manufacturing
- Software engineering development and QA
- Survival skills such as shelters, fire starting, water purification, foraging, and so forth.
- Forestry and woodsmanship
I am also certified as an instructor for Hunter Education and Bowhunter Education by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife department.
I am extremely community-minded. I strongly believe that the well-being of all requires that we act in a manner that is beneficial not only to ourselves but also to those in our community. It is by looking out for one another that all can survive and thrive.
I’ve been asked to mention conflicts of interest but quite frankly the instructions on how to do so are not as clear as I need them to be. I’m happy to comply once I’m able to figure it out. I have tried to insert a Conflict of Interest template here but it’s totally not obvious what I’m supposed to do with it, so I removed it. I need more guidance.
