Summary:
Born in Quetta, Mr. Sarang has grown to be one of the most hard-working talents Balochistan has produced in the recent past. With his inborn artistic qualities, Sami Sarang has emerged as the modern-day producer-cum-director, having adopted the film production not only a choice but a dream. With 10 years of practical working experience with leading national and international media outlets. Sami is currently a resident in Muscat, Oman.
Education and Experience:
Sarang completed his Masters in Mass and Media Communication from Islamabad-based National University of Modern Languages(NUMLS). Sarang started his professional career with ISPR(Inter-Services Public Relations) as a Producer for the Media Department. Sami also hosted various FM Programs as an RJ(Radio Jockey) for ISPR. Sarang is famous for his professional level command on various languages including Urdu, English, Arabic, Pashtu, Balochi, Punjabi, Hindi etc. Currently, Sami is producing his independent productions along with working on several international projects as an actor and director.
Actor
Sami Debut was PTV Drama 'Tabeer' directed by Shakeel Adnan Hashmi. His first movie as an actor was Sehar movie which he co-directed as well. Sami Played leading Role in Sangat Movie. He Debuted in Kollywood for Tamil Movie Ippadai Vellum in 2017. He also stared in award winning short movies like Thirsty. Sami is also working as a volunteer theater artist with Indian Expats in Oman, giving a message of peace and brotherhood.
Direction and Production:
Mr. Sarang has done a great service to his native brothers as for the first time in the history of Baluchistan, he has started producing films in Balochi language with the support of Said Al Balushi. Up until now, he has worked as Co-Director in Sehar and Directed Sangat Tale Film. Sami won the Best Director award for Short Film Siraaj which was produced in the Arabic Language for Oman Film Festival.(See Video). He also directed Music Videos for various singers including 'Khowab ka kiya hai'. Sami is currently working on a Short movie, as a director, which is dedicated to 50 Years of services of his majesty Sultan Bin Qaboos.
