- Everything that is in the article is relevant to the topic at hand, however the overall tone of the article distracted me from the content it provided. Despite the authors neutrality towards the topic, the article feels much more like a series of bullet points that were mashed together. Despite the fact that there is an origin section of the article, nothing in that area specifically mentions the details of the Soucouyant's place of origin. The origin section simply discusses the what, but not the when or where, at least not specifically. I did however check out a good chunk of the citations, all of which seem be up and running. However I would point out that there simply aren't enough points properly referenced, especially in the section regarding the origin of the creature.
- The article seems to have a relatively small following, with three talking points brought up over the past decade. However it seems that several Wikiprojects are interested in this article, such as WikiProject Mythology and WikiProject Horror.
