SAGNIK SEN
Sagnik Sen is a popular Singer from Kolkata, India. As a singer, trained under his father Late Shri Swapan Sen, Sagnik's deep passion, since childhood, has been Hemant Kumar's songs and Rabindrasangeet(Songs written n composed by Tagore).
His debut album was released by Sagarika music, comprising songs of his father's compositions, followed by albums again from Sagarika music, Prime music and HMV SaReGaMa. He has been honoured and felicitated from various organisations in and outside Bengal.
He has concertised internationaly,very successfully in United States of America(New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, New Jersey,etc), Canada(Toronto), Australia(Sydney & Melbourne), Netherlands, etc
He has also concertised in all the major cities of India like Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, etc,.
He has given more than 25 TV interviews and done musical shows in various reputed Bengali TV channels and Radio Stations like Aakash Aath, Ruposhi Bangla, Tara TV, DD Bangla, 91.9 Friends FM, FM Gold, etc., in a time span of 8 to 9 months.
Sagnik has playbacked many songs on the lip of Bengali Superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee for STAR JALSHA channel's prestigious 'Mahanayak' series ,and for Films like 'Jete Nahi Debo' , ' Bhalobashar Bari' , etc,.
His latest Rabindrasangeet Album, 'Ei to Bhalo Legechhilo', launched in 2017 became very popular. He was very close and has received immense blessings from legendary Rabindrasangeet exponent Smt. Suchitra Mitra and personality like Smt. Bela Mukherjee, wife of Hemant Kumar.
Besides singing and composing, Sagnik also has his passion for painting portraits, playing piano, and writing poems. His paintings has also been shown in his various TV shows.
Sagnik has been awarded the THE AKADEMIA Award for Best Live Video Performance in May 2017.
