Michael Larry Printz (1936-1993) was an American librarian whose tireless advocacy of young adult literature and young adult librarianship earned him the recognition of his peers when they named the annual award for exemplary Young Adult literature after him.
Career
editPrintz worked as a school librarian in Topeka, Kansas. He also worked for Econo-Clad, a library supply company which has since been bought by Mackin.
