Without a Senate Calculator, How Can I Estimate the result?

The table below shows the percentage vote each party needs to reach a certain quota for election. The count is slightly more complex than just filling quotas, but the table is a useful working guide.

To explain the table, if a party's vote reaches 23.1%, it fills three quotas and elects three members. If it reaches 26.9%, it will elect three members and have half a quota of votes left over in the race to elect a fourth member.  This total beyond a quota is usually referred to as a partial quota.
