Phura
editPhura is a young promising Ma /Khaisa commonly known as (dammar punchy) artist. A dose of his traditional yet hip and happening music will leave you begging for more. Phura is talented in many ways, he can dance, play keyboard and sing all in all he is a musical genius. He is from Swakopmund Namibia. The young artist definitely has a bright career in the Namibian music industry, and hopefully one day he will take his music abroad.
History
editPhura had his first ever musical experience with the moonlight boys in 1999 as a keyboard player [1]. He then quite the band and when solo in 2003 where he met the music producer Steven !Naruseb who signed him and he released his first album in October 2003 titled “Tsu ba tes go /Namsa” (you become a problem for me sweetheart). He was awarded best new comer in 2004 by Sanlam/NBC music awards [2].. Ti hana tsa xu-e is on e of his hit singles amongst ama baka baka and Naba khom.
