Canisianum Roman Catholic High School
editIs a church school situated in the northern region of Omusati. It was established in 1972 but stopped to function after many of its pupils were abducted by SWAPO plan fighters in 1977.The school was again revived In 2000 and its one of the best schools in the country ranking number five at senior secondary national level [1]. In addition, it’s also the top pest in Omusati region. Canisianum which is supported by both the government and the church has adequate resources. It has an excellent teaching staff, comprised of motivated Namibians, volunteers and nuns. For students living in the Ombalantu region, Canisianum is the best chance to get a quality education [2].
