Hey, I'm Mike. I am a writer for ReadWriteWeb. I've never edited or contributed to Wikipedia before, but I've written about it several times, from my senior thesis at Bard College back in the Fall of 2001 and Spring of 2002 to more recently with ReadWriteWeb.
