Participation

edit

Members can represent The Rubbernecks in any organised sporting activities. More emphasis is placed on the difficulty of the event than on the time recorded - a slow time in a multiday ultra-marathon would be regarded more highly that a fast time in a 5K race for example.
Representing the club is defined as either:
1. Competing in an event with the club name being published in the event's official results.
2. Competing in official team kit.

An official club event is where three or more club full members enter an event. The decathlon itself is also classed as an official event. A key objective of the club is for at least one official club event per annum to be attended by a large group of Rubbernecks to test their sporting limits, catch up with good friends and drink tonic wines.

Caps

edit

Each time a Rubberneck represents the club in an official sporting event they will be awarded one Cap.
