Collins Oborakpororo Clarke was born in Lagos on November 25, 1968 to William Ogbotor Clarke and Late Madam Mary Omotamu Emosoga. His childhood was built around his mother, the woman for him is everything.

Education
Collins Clarke attended Ajeromi Primary School, Ajegunle, Lagos, from 1972-1976, Ologbosere Primary Scool, Benin City, Edo State from 1976-1979 and Ethiope Primary School, Amukpe, Sapele, Delta State in 1979. He further did his secondary education with Okpe Grammar School Sapele from 1979 - 1984. He also studied (A/L) with the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE, Benin City (1988-89). After his Advance Levels he went to University of Jos for his first degree in Political Science from 1990 - 1994. He went to University of Benin to Study Comparative Politics and Developmental Studies at the Masters level. In 2005, he went to University of Newcastle Upon Tyne to study African Politics at the Masters levels. In 2009 he went to Study Political Research with the University of Aberdeen.

Kids
Collins Clarke is blessed with three sons: Collins Oborogheneroro Clarke, born in 2004. Crawford Omotamu Collins-Clarke, Born in 2006 and Cox Oghenemine Collins-Clarke born in 2010.
