Željko Živadinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Жељко Живадиновић, Romanian: Jelyco Jivadinovici; born 4 October 1990 in Bor) is a Serbian footballer. He is currently a free agent. He also holds Romanian passport.

Biography

Živadinović was born in Bor, Serbia. During the civil war he lived in Romania. His mother Mirela is Romanian, and his father Dragan is Serbian. After the war, he came back to Serbia. He started playing football at the age of 10.[citation needed]

Željko has got his talents from his father. Dragan was also a talented player. In the early '70s localy known as one of the best player that has played for FK Bor, because of his technique. Every one called him "Šeki", compered to Dragoslav Šekularac. But he didn't get a chance to play for a bigger club than low-league teams. In his time, there weren't any scouts, so no one could recomend him for any bigger club.[citation needed]

Željko playes Right and Left back, but, he can also play as a Winger, because of his speed, and technique. He got a nickname "Maradona" in the youth squad of FK Bor from one of his teammates parent, because of a goal he scored on that training. His football skills were allmost as good as the famous player Diego Armando Maradona, and he was short like him. But, the injury has slown down hes developement, so "Bor's Maradona" did not see the future every one had expected.[citation needed]

He played in youth squad of FK Bor with Aleksandar Miljković and Nikola Trujić.[citation needed]

Early years

Živadinović started playing in the local team of FK Bor, but never got a good chance of playing in youth squad. So he decided to move to another local team FK Rudar Bor. At the age of 16, he suffered a bad injury on a training. He had a rupture of lateral ligaments on hes right knee. Doctors did not see that injury till 2 years had passed. At the age of 18, he finally got operated, and started playing again.[citation needed]

He left FK Rudar Bor at the age of 20, and moved to Novi Sad, to study at the university, where he hopes that he can find a club where he can start all over with his career.[citation needed]

First try-out

In 2009, when Željko has still been registrated for FK Rudar Bor, he went to Romania on a try-out. The first try-out was for the CS Concordia Chiajna. He passed with good grades, but, he needed to go back to Serbia. That try-out was to sign contract if he would enter on Bucharest University, and unfortunately, he didn't get in.[citation needed]

Next try-out

Živadinović played for his university, and has been searching for a club to go on a try-out, but, unfortunately, without any luck. No team was interested in a player that needs more time, to get in the condition for the matches. More than a year has passed, and he didn't find any clubs.[citation needed]
