Birla Vidya Niketan, was established in 1982 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art & Culture in southern Delhi. Its 6-acre campus comprises the senior block, junior block and sports complex. It is a co-educational English medium Senior Secondary School, recognized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi and is affiliated to the CBSE. The junior school comprises of classes from nursery to fifth. The senior building having classes from sixth to twelfth. THere are six houses in total, named on the mountain ranges of India: Annapurna, Aravali, Dhaulagiri, Kailash, Nilgiri, Vindhya.
