The 2018–19 Liga III was the third season of the third level women's football league of the Romanian football league system. 18 teams divided in 3 series played in the competition that consisted of a double round-robin lasting 10 stages, totaling 90 matches.[1]

Renamed teams

ASA Târgu Mureș withdrew during the winter break of the 2017–18 Liga I. The municipality picked up the team under the name CSM Târgu Mureș, but was enrolled in the lowest tier league.

Real Craiova was moved to Filiași and subsequently renamed. Since the first squad was relegated to the 2018–19 Liga II, the second team of the club was automatically reassigned to Liga III.
