The 2017–18 Liga III was the second season of the third level women's football league of the Romanian football league system. 15 teams divided in 2 series played in the competition that consisted of a double round-robin lasting 14 stages, totaling 98 matches.[1] However, since one team withdrew, the remaining 14 teams played a total of 86 matches.
