Very new, here, with account created 16 March 2011, EDT, first Talk Page contribution being on Fukushima. Former reactor operator/electronics technician. (Anybody made the Fuk'u'shima mispronunciation joke, yet?)

Lessee... other stuff...

Studied architectural engineering but went in the Navy, instead. Got out and went to art school for Industrial Design. Did design and a lot of CAD but ended up supporting PCs, then network stuff and running the trading floor display systems for 1/4 of Earth's economy. Didn't like Wall Street types and left to be a photographer. Was at Ground Zero (world Trade Center) as a volunteer in the first week. Joined Homeland Security as an explosives inspector. Left after a year and a half (they suck) and taught people to ride motorcycles for a living. Now I sell wine and am actually happy, thank you. Yes, I know the answer to Life, The Universe, And Everything... and before you say "42", it actually has to do with perceptual distortions in the evolutionary development of human vision and the development of the bicameral mind. I'll write a thesis on it, some day but wine is much more interesting.
