Dignity Gospel Quartet
In the early summer of 2004 Jackie Snider organized a group of 4 men as The Dignity Memorial Singers. These men worked together at a Houston funeral home and agreed to assist Jackie in her efforts to assist individuals who were reconciling their lives in the midst of the loss of a loved one. Jackie’s efforts were aligned with the community outreach efforts of the sponsoring organization Dignity Memorial providers of funeral, cemetery, and cremation services throughout the United States and Canada. The support organization’s name is L.I.F.T. and it continues it’s mission today under Jackie’s leadership.
As the Director of Community Outreach for Dignity Memorial Funeral, Cemetery, and Cremation Providers of the Greater Houston area, Jackie held a desire to incorporate her background in music into her passion for bringing joy back into the lives of the many people who have lost loved ones that she meets with nearly every day. That vision has grown to managing appearances of the quartet not only for many small group venues, but also community-wide gospel concerts totaling 30-40 performances annually and recording sessions in Nashville and other studios.
