I joined as a Wikipedia editor some time ago to make some minor edits. I think I have made exactly two so far (I suppose this can be checked). I am beginning to make greater efforts. I have been a supporter of Wikipedia for quite a while, though passively, and now I want to spend more time actively improving it. My intention is to spend this time editing articles on various areas of mathematics, computer science, and their history. I doubt I will branch out beyond those areas.

I am just learning, however. I appreciate the "Don't bite the newcomers" rule :)

I should also mention that I have retired from Western University and now will have more time for editing. I see that there is lots to do. I have just written and submitted my first draft article; while that is being reviewed I shall poke around and fill in various details that I see are needed. I just added a sentence on Rook Pivoting to the Gaussian Elimination article; I will go look and see if it is still there :) Rob.Corless (talk) 16:24, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
