My ancestors
editMy ancestors were originally from Scotland and later moved to Dublin where they established a successful merchant business. The family was painted by artist Bernard Mulrenin in 1848. The image was painted on ivory and exhibited in Dublin at the Great Industrial Exhibition of 1853.[1]
