Rick The Lone Wolf is the Appalachian Trail name of Richard (Ryszard) S. Dunin-Wilczynski who thru-hiked the AT from Georga to Maine in 2003. Starting at Mt. Springer on April 3rd, 2003 and finishing on Mt. Katahdin on October 19th, 2003
Rick also has gone by the trail names "Lone Wolf of Explorer Post 1046" (out of Brockton, MA between 1975 and 1982); "Prince Lone Wolf" and just plain old "Lone Wolf" (used most often before 2003).
Rick did the Long Trail in Vermont in 2004 and in 2007 did the new Grafton Loop Trail in Maine. He has hiked all of the New Hampshire 4000 Footers (AMC 4000 footer club) and most of the New England 4000 footers and Hundred Highest (will finish someday *LOL*)
Rick is a proud member of the prestigious Dunin Clan
He holds a Bachelors degree in computer science and is in the process of continuing his education.
