Hazel Rhodes Reece (January 11, 1925 - February 7, 2015) was a quilter from Onslow County, North Carolina.
Biography
editIn 1991, Hazel Rhodes Reece and her sister Effie Rhodes Bell were the first quilters to be recipients of the North Carolina Heritage Award[1].
Reece learned to quilt by watching her older sisters and learning techniques from her aunts. [2]
