Reinier van der Sandt is a Dutch musician. He plays piano in Jazz Team, but out of a personal altruism he started a website for concerned ex devotees from Sathya Sai Baba, a fraud guru in South-India, this site is in English as well in Dutch. He was never a devotee himself, nor he has ever been in India, but just coincidentally after hearing an interview with ex devotee Ranada van Kralingen in September 2000 broadcasted by the Dutch Radio I program OHM, he became aware of the importance of the subject and started to create a website (just to be precise, there was already a very small site, but the website owner stopped the exposé work) at the end of 2000. Initially there was only a Dutch site, but very soon Reinier was asked to make an English site, which he created and for which there was, and still is an overwhelming interest. The name of this site is ‘Website for concerned former devotees of Sathya Sai Baba’. Its primary function is to warn those who have planned to follow Sathya Sai Baba as their guru. The ultimate responsibility for this site, as well representative person for inside and outside information, is in the hands of Andries Krugers Dagneaux, who is also from the Netherlands.
