The article I chose to edit was [States incarceration rate]. I am very interested in this topic and would like to be kept up to date on the current situation. I know people from both sides of the spectrum and it helps with communicating my ideas if I know what i'm talking about.

To me its a strong article that shows the current issue with today's high incarceration. It has data that clearly shows trends of when and what caused the spike. Everything presented is from government agencies and other well sourced references.

The only problem I was able to find was that in the beginning of the article they use a blog post for some information. I looked at the link and saw that the blog post in general had itself sourced it's information from the same places the wiki page did. The only caveat being the narrative of the blog. They viewed it as a problem and while I am inclined to agree with them I did not see how this fell in line with the wiki guide lines of using unbiased sources.

That being said I chose to make my two contributions on a section I thought needed some more clarification. Someone wrote about a current trend and I added some context to illustrate the situation.
