Hi, I'm Neil Birrell, I'm a doctoral candidate at The University of Auckland who is studying entomology in the Holwell Lab. My research is on New Zealand edible insects. I'm interested in many things but currently I am researching insects as food and feed. I also run a start-up using black soldier fly larvae to convert organic waste into protein.
