Robert Martínez-Carrasco holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting from Universitat Jaume I and an MA in Legal Translation from City University London. After a couple of years in China lecturing in Spanish and Translation studies, he currently teaches English and Reverse translation courses (Catalan into English) at Jaume I (Castelló de la Plana, Spain). He is a member of the bilingual Universitat Jaume I - E-translating project (Project in English Wikipedia) Aprendices de la Wikipedia (Project in Spanish Wikipedia) E-translating Vikipèdia (project in Catalan Vikipèdia) led by Professor María Calzada Pérez. He co-manages his translation company specialising in legal translation and other linguistic services. He is an eager learner of Chinese, a traveller, and an -amateur- boxer. Within the academia, his research interests include education and translator training as well as ideology, discourse, and identity.
