The Ravens Rockabilly Club. Also knows as Ravens Greaser Gangs. The Ravens were born in 1984 in a small town Called Glen Avon in Riverside County of Southern California. The first four as they call it. Doc, Randy, James, Todd, and Spike, ( R.I.P ). All four came from families rich in Southern Rockabilly culture and country music. During this time in the early 1980's the local high school kids didn't understand or accept the style of dress and the music of Rockabilly. So needless to say. Ravens had to Fight a lot and defend their way of life. All Changed as time went on, and members began meeting other kids and clubs centered around Rockabilly music. Members spent a lot of time Hanging out at the local arcade, pool hall, car shows, or their favorite party spot Ravens Field. The first half of the 80's the Ravens Grew fast. From four to fifteen members by the End of 1988. The club began to slowly fade away During the early 1990's due to members getting Married, having kids, and developing different Careers. But even with all of this, many of Them remained good friends and got together When ever they could. BBG's, fishing, or meeting up at car show. Some members split off And formed car clubs. So during the 1990's things remained quiet. Then in 2000, Doc and Dean'o reformed the club. Worked out a constitution, new patch design and began building the club again . Special credit through this period of time the Ravens is given to Brother Dean'o and Felix. They kept the family together and tight, along with other friends who hung out with the club. Both were instrumental in keeping up the good name of the Ravens, and making everyone laugh; Also both brothers for their huge contribution to the Rockabilly lifestyle in their own ways. Doc, Dean'o and Felix were good fishing buddies and friends. All remained very tight. Unfortunately sometimes things can go sour, and things get misunderstood and taken to a place they shouldn't. This author would like to extend his deepest apologies to Felix, and extende his hand in friendship and say I'm sorry. Friends and brothers should always be able to solve their differences. So brother Felix, thank you for the huge contribution to the Ravens Rockabilly Club, and we hope you may return some day. H.H.F.Ravens Forever!
