Strategic merger between Raul654 and Ral315 denied by SEC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 2, 2007

Wikipedia administrators Raul654 and Ral315 announced today that the announced merger between the pair was denied by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

"We're disappointed that this move was denied," said Raul654. "We believe that merging would not have performed a monopoly. However, we've decided to move on."

"We're both considering merging with non-admins instead," Ral315 said. "It won't give the same opportunities as our proposed merger would, but we'll have to learn to be rouge separately."

Raul654 is a Wikipedia administrator and bureaucrat, member of the Arbitration Committee, and the featured article director. Raul654 is also responsible for choosing the featured article displayed on the Main Page every day.

Ral315 is a Wikipedia administrator and the editor-in-chief of the Wikipedia Signpost, a Wikipedia community newspaper.
