Tectura is a global corporation based in San Mateo, California, USA that is a Microsoft Dynamics ERP Gold partner [1] and a provider of IT consulting and software development services. The company was founded in 2001 as a prviately held company. Tectura maintains offices in over 45 countries.
Established on April 4, 1975 to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for the Altair 8800, Microsoft rose to dominate the home computer operating system market with MS-DOS in the mid-1980s, followed by the Windows line of operating systems.[1][3][4][5] The ensuing rise of the company's initial public stock offering (IPO) in 1986 made four billionaires and an estimated 12,000 millionaires from Microsoft employees.[6][7] Financial Times Global 500 ranked it as the third largest company in the world for the first quarter of 2010.[8]
