Nadhna

Nadhna is a village of Barauli block, Gopalganj district ,Bihar ,INDIA.841405. IT is situated neighborhood of the birthplace of Bihar Ex-chief minister Late ABDUL GHAFOOR. A small village with Rajputs and Muslims the mazor community. With MASAN MAI goddess worshipped by villagers in the form of NIM TREE situated in the middle of the village , BARAHM BABA god in the form of BARGAD TREE situated at the southeast part of the village, Temple of goddess KALI at north corner of village and The famous CHHATH GHATT in south gives this small village an ultimate beautiful village for a short trip. You can see the local farmers feeding their animals around the empty fields. Some festivals which are celebrated by masses and you can saw the energy are GAUMALA PUJA, CHHATH PARV, HOLI. Every year the villagers perform YAGYA FOR THE WELLFARE Of the village during summer. Like other typical villages of south Asia , NADHNA is also suffering due to lack of educational background . Their were lack of sincereness about educational benefits. People are forcing their children to stop education and leave village in search of job at very early age. Government policies have reached the village after such a long time of Independence. But lack of fund is still the biggest enemy in the path of development.
