Jay Haze is an up and coming music producer in the ambient and trance world.

Career

Born in Hebden Bridge in the UK, he was classically trained in brass instruments by James Shepherd from the age of seven. He has performed in the Queensbury Brass Band, Halifax Youth Orchestra playing first trumpet and French horn.

After university he trained as a recording engineer and producer under the tuition of Bruce Cole from York University.

Now specialising in remixes of other peoples work and pure ambient soundscapes he is highly rated in the ambient and chillout world.

Haze has worked with several of the UK's leading bands as an engineer and Roadie and has owned shares in a commercial recording studio in the UK during the 1990s.

Now living in eastern Europe he has begun to expand on his musical creativity and is working on several solo projects and recently reformed his old Band Epox with Chris Worth.
