Chris Walter (born August 16th, 1959) is a contemporary Canadian novelist and founder of the independent publishing company, Gofuckyerself Press [2]

Biography

Walter was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to East Vancouver, British Columbia in 1991 where he still resides with his girlfriend and their son.

Gofuckyerself Press (GFY Press) specializes in urban fiction, "books about punks, drunks, junkies and whores", and has published 18 titles, including 11 novels by Chris, his autobiographical trilogy, a biography of the Canadian punk group Personality Crisis (band), and novels authored by Simon Snotface, Drew Gates, and Stewart Black.[1] Despite their dark subject matter, Chris' books are known for their blend of black humour presented in prose described by critics as "convincing, lively, real, accessible and wildly entertaining".[2]
