The John Alfons Pandeni Combined School:

edit

This school is situated in the northern part of Namibia, 2km northeastern side of the town of Outapi, Ombalantu in Omusati region. Is is also known as Okavu combined School. the school was then named after the late minister of local government and housing, the late honourable John Alfons Pandeni because the memorial service was done at the school's soccer field and he was born in the area where the school is situated.

This school was built and opened during the colonial era in the year 1973. Its started from grade 6 to 10 with +-25teachers ,a secretary/librarian, 2 security guards and 2 cleaners. The school master Mr Isdor Kanyangela knows how to discipline his learnres and knows that team work is the best weapon to success.[1]

This school made me who i am today becuse this is where i was taught. People who attend this school do not foget their tradition. Miss susan Ndinoshiho was one fo my favourite teachers, simply because she taught me how t sew and knit. this bwas done because we are not all sharp when it comes to books , so at this school people explore different talent and everybody does what he she knows best. There is also a very qualified phisical science teacher who is remembered by everybody who she taught because the course that i'm ding now have nothing to do with phisics but I stil remember most of the thing she taught us. this the kind of teacher who will come to class pretending to be angry and she will shout at the whole class saying "jou poscamazilco silver gold" which is the order of the reactivity series or she might say "jou roigbiv" and those are the ordered colours of the rainbow. I mean this school got a whole lot of talents.
