I'm a longtime user and contributor with a few old accounts in the graveyard whose passwords I have long forgotten. I am a violist and conductor. I do take the NOR policy seriously and personally; I consider it insulting to be told that truth is determined by consensus and that originality in knowledge and insight are not only valueless but actively to be discouraged. While the original research policy in an ingrained part of Wikipedia and is doubtless very important in many contexts, it also prohibits this service from being the visionary tool for the advancement of new thought that it ought to be.
That said, I do intend to abide by the rules as set down, and any perceived violation thereof is probably due to misunderstanding, and despite what some editors may believe, I can be persuaded of my error when I am wrong. I just takes a while.
