Purplebricks is headquartered in Solihull and operates exclusively in the United Kingdom.[1][2] The company suspended operations in the United States and Australia in 2019,[3][4] and its Canadian holding company was sold to the Desjardins Group in 2020.[5] Purplebricks and publisher Axel Springer own a 25.9 percent majority stake in Homeday, a similar German brokerage.[6]
Purplebricks went public in December 2015 and is listed on the AIM section of the London Stock Exchange.[7][8] In 2020, the company reported revenue of £111.1 million and an operating income of -£9.4 million.[1][9][10]
Purplebricks is led by Paul Pindar, the non-executive chairman of the board.[11] Vic Darvey is Purplebricks’ chief executive officer.[11] Andrew Botha is the company's chief financial director.[11]
