About Ruairí edit
I am not new to Wikipedia, but am very new to actually having an account. I have done many, mostly minor, edits on several articles over the years with no account, but something happened recently, (what that was is unimportant), that has made me want to create an account.
I am a vision-impaired man who lives in Longford, Ireland. I use a Screen reader to help me navigate on the web, as my vision is so poor that I cannot see normal print.
I, like my father, work in Irish politics. We are both staunch Irish Republicans and work for the political party Republican Sinn Fein.
Like a few others I have seen round the wikiverse, I also have a group of WikiOtters. I don't know how I got them, (I have an idea, but that's my secret), but I'm sure delighted they came to stay. I just wished for them, and they magically appeared. I wish my edits were so easy.
I will be attempting to experiment with templates and things, but I warn you, I have never done anything like this before, and my efforts are apt to be spotty.
Since I am unable to see the visual aspects of editing my page, I would much appreciate someone fixing things that do not appear visually correct, as long as one can do so leaving my content relatively intact. I am not opposed to changes in content, as long as I am given a chance to discuss them first.
