English - French
The articles in English and French are actually very similar. They even use a lot of the same graphics. The French article uses a different format for displaying all of the actors, they use a bullet list while the English one is just one giant blob of test. The English article goes a bit more in depth in its description of the show compared to the French article. The French article is missing some of the countries that Game of Thrones is broadcast in. The English page has a mention of the fandom which has been steadily growing. In the article it says that the fans are more devout than lady gaga, justin beiber, harry potter, or star wars fans. It also appears that the French article is missing some of the awards. The English article has a few more references but they are fairly even.
I chose to do an English to French comparison because I wanted to try and find another country that would most likely have been able to watch Game of Thrones. A country that doesn't watch Game of Thrones would make for a very boring comparison. I am a game of thrones fan myself and I was curious about how popular it was in other countries.
I was actually surprised that the French article had as much information as it had. I just assumed that the fandom had only reached as far as the US but I it looks like I may have been wrong. That or perhaps someone in the US that speaks french created the page.
